		<description>We actually didn&#039;t make that image.  We wish whoever did had chosen a better source image - that was a major construction area at the time.  Of course it wouldn&#039;t look lively.

Most of Downtown Fort Worth is much more active than that.  In fact, that part seen above is much more active now that it&#039;s all finished.</description>

		<description>i&#039;d agree with the &#039;bleak and abandoned&#039; sentiment -- but that&#039;s what most of those fake outdoor mall-type things end up producing, even with massive subsidies. take away bikes, and you take away street life. 

and those portland streetcars are the ugliest things this side of the Mississippi. i&#039;m not asking for anything snazzy or fancy or even modern -- just something that looks moderately attractive -- make a positive impact upon, and addition to, to public space.</description>
